About Mental Health, ADHD & Autism Assessments

Horizon provides assessment services for children, teens, and adults seeking clarity around anxiety, mood, trauma-related symptoms, behavioural and emotional difficulties, ADHD, autism, and other diagnostic questions. This type of assessment looks at the full picture of mental health, including any applicable diagnoses.

The assessments are designed to support understanding, planning for additional professional support, accommodations, and practical next steps.

The assessment process may include interviews, questionnaires, standardized evaluation measures, and a review of relevant records to understand developmental and mental health history. The specific assessment plan depends on the referral question and the person’s needs. We will be glad to assist you in clarifying this further when you reach out.

The final psychological report includes a summary of findings, diagnosis when appropriate, and recommendations for treatment, accommodations, resources, or further support.
