Counselling Services

I see therapy as a safe place for my clients to heal, learn, and grow. I strive to be a caring and engaging professional who helps others feel comfortable and supported. I am honoured to help people walk through challenging experiences and live their lives meaningfully.

I integrate mind, emotion, and body-aware approaches to help people make sense of difficult experiences, reconnect with what matters, and move forward with greater awareness and balance. My practice is grounded in existential therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC). Depending on each client’s needs and goals, I also offer Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT), and Complicated Grief Disorder Therapy (CGDT).

My practice is informed by research in psychology, neuroscience, and education. I aim to translate that knowledge into practical, everyday tools and insights that support greater balance, self-understanding, and wellbeing.

Assessment Services

I provide comprehensive differential diagnosis and psychoeducational assessments for children, adolescents, and adults. My  assessment practice includes the following purposes: contribute to clarity about personal strengths and beneficial supports, treatment planning, as well as learning and workplace accommodations. Some of the assessment areas include ADHD, learning difficulties, giftedness, Autism, stress and trauma, anxiety, depression, sleep, as well as behavioural difficulties in chidlren and adolescents.

Professional Background

I have been a registered psychologist with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists since 2013. My practice has included the areas of clinical, counselling, and school psychology serving adults, adolescents, and children.

I am dedicated to developing qualified, evidence-based services and support systems for people in Saskatchewan. I am also deeply committed to enhancing the training of mental health professionals in our province and creating capacity for services in various areas of need. I provide supervision to provisionally-registered psychologists, as well as professional consultations to counsellors and psychologists, both within the clinic and in the community.

My professional path as a psychologist started in residential and community-based services, working as a part of counselling and assessment teams with access to multidisciplinary consultation resources. I began working in private practice, establishing Horizon in 2017. I continue to serve as a co-owner and clinical director of our clinic.
