The more work we do on building self-awareness and resilience when all is well,
the better able we are to face life’s challenges when they come our way.- Dr. Julie Smith
Assessment Services
I believe that knowledge about oneself brings about self-awareness and empowerment. Therefore, conducting a comprehensive psycho-educational assessment and differential diagnoses to children, adolescents, and adults is one way to support individuals who are seeking a better understanding of themself. My approach to assessment is driven by the client’s presenting concerns. I approach each assessment with curiosity and a purpose of providing insight about the client’s personal strengths and potential, while also formulating strategies and recommendations to support their areas of need.
My areas of practice include: specific learning disorder, intellectual developmental disorder, attention, executive functioning, anxiety, and depression.
