The deeper sorrow carves into your being,
the more joy you can contain.- Khalil Gibran![]()
My Approach
My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that there are many ways to heal. When it comes to your personal healing journey, I believe that you select the path and I simply help you find the right pair of shoes. My goal is to support and help you find resilience, joy, empowerment, and satisfaction in your life. While I believe that each of us is molded by our circumstances, experiences, expectations, and aspirations, I also believe that we are in a constant state of learning and flux. In spite of what has happened to us, we are able to break that mold.
My practice is informed by Solutions-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Systems Theory. While I rely on these theoretical approaches to support you I am also open to working with you to find the best approach to address your specific concerns.
It would be a tremendous privilege to be able to provide you with supportive counselling on your healing journey and an honour to hear your story.
