My Approach
My approach to counselling is person-centered and holistic. I also use cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), mindfulness and solution-focused approaches depending upon the client’s needs. My training and experience in education, psychology and in mental health, has provided me with a wide array of knowledge and approaches for helping others. I believe in focusing on your strengths and helping you to learn new skills to help build resilience so that you can use these tools throughout your life. The approaches that I use are evidence-based and they focus on learning and development.
